This story is purely fictional. I don't know Hanson, nor any of their associates. However, all of the original characters belong to me, and I ask that you not use anything from this story without my permission.
The idea for this story came to me in April of 2006. It happened virtually overnight. The first few lines of the story sprung into my mind as I was going to bed one night, and the next day I started writing. Both the title and the inspiration for this story came from the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Mandee recommended it to me, and after a few months, I finally managed to get my hands on a copy and read it in a day. If you haven't read it, then I suggest you check it out. Not only is it a wonderful book, but it's also our protagonist's favorite book.
I still remember the world
From the eyes of a child
Slowly those feelings
Were clouded by what I know now
Where has my heart gone
An uneven trade for the real world
Oh I, I want to go back to
Believing in everything and knowing nothing at all
